It is quite cool to be notice by companies and attend their events but somehow I wonder, is blogging really used to advertise and ends up being bias to what they were saying? DO YOU NEED MAKEUP TO FEEL CONFIDENT?

I always read a post on social media about women loving and hating make up, it almost came up as a battle between the two and I always feel the same way about it, I don’t care if you love or hate makeup perhaps because of your own experience but does it really have to be a big deal for everyone? To the point that posts like “Why having no makeup is better” or “10 Things Women Who Does Not Wear Makeup Will Understand”. I feel bad about such topic but it is another story I want to share with you in the near future.

THINGS I’VE USED UP | PART 1

It’s raining so hard these past few days, I hope everyone is safe. Since I can’t go anywhere, I tried to clean my vanity and room. I just tried because I know that it is impossible for me to finish everything in one sitting and let’s just say that I tried my best. Anyway, today I want to show to you the things that I’ve used up since last year. It is hard for me to finish a product for 2-3 months, I am not that kind of person/blogger who will use something like crazy just to include it in a monthly empties. Let’s face it people, we don’t really do that. I can’t even finish a travel size bb cream or moisturizer for two months how about a full size?

I’m just lucky to collect all these products because these were a lot. Okay too much talking let’s start this post.

IWHITE KOREA AQUA VITA MOISTURIZER

Giveaway is still up (follow me on instagram for the details) and could be my last giveaway ever. Lately I am thinking that perhaps I am not doing enough in this whole blog thing that I should give it up. I already did my part, I even changed my domain because of recommendations from a friend, then even amp my pictures and the contents. Do I really have to continue this? What do you think?

A LAZY MORNING ROUTINE + SHORT REVIEWS

Here is something you might want to know about me: I don’t do my makeup in the morning. EVER. Unless it is very important like events, meeting or interview but aside from that I go out with bare face. The only thing that will save me from looking like a dead human is a good skincare routine but there are the times when I don’t even bother to wash my face. Gross? Nah. Just me being lazy. When I feel tamad to do my skincare, I only do four steps sometimes just three depending on what my skin’s texture and condition is in the morning. Click through for the whole post.

MAC VELVET TEDDY LIPSTICK

I always wanted to own a Mac Cosmetic, I don’t even care if it is a lipstick, a foundation or an eyeshadow. I just want to have anything from Mac but as a student, budget is really tight and I have a lot on my list that is my actual priority rather than owning one so when my cousins asked me what I wanted for my graduation, I told them without any hesitation and second thought that I want a Mac Lipstick. I did not expect that my cousin, Jane will give it to me. But when she asked me what shade do I want I told her Velvet Teddy.

Supposedly, my other cousin Ace is the one who will buy this for me but he lost his mind inside the store, he can’t remember the name of the lipstick and said casually to the lady “Miss may Red Velvet kayo?” and the lady raised her brows to him and said “Wala po.” When he is telling me the story I couldn’t help but laugh and told him it is actually Velvet Teddy! On his next attempt, he can’t find any from another branch. Luckily, Jane find one from Rustan’s Shang. She said it was really difficult to find. I agree with her since Kylie Lip Kit was released everyone is going gaga to find a dupe for her nude shades and Velvet Teddy is a lovely nude lipstick. Continue reading for the whole review.

A MAN’S REVIEW: NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN BLACKHEAD ELIMINATING COOLING TONER

I’ve lost counts of how many times I have to repeat to him how important skincare is whatever you gender. He keeps on telling me that it is only for the girls, only for maarte and he will never use such for his face. After telling him the pros and cons of using skincare, from 10 steps I cut it down to three and now just two. The important thing is that he is now embracing one of his “nightmare” a.k.a putting “cosmetics” on his face. He still insist that skincare is part of makeup routine, guess I need to have a one on one talk with him about this.

He finished a set before, his first ever skincare was from Burt’s Bees a brand close to my heart and he got the line for Blemish/Troubled skin. Now he is getting something from Neutrogena. As of the moment, I don’t know what facial wash he use or if he is actually using something but this is what he use after, I am confident that he is using it or else.

MAXIPEEL CHALLENGE PART 1

I know a handful of bloggers that will cringe if they will take the challenge of Maxipeel. For so many years, I avoided this brand when walking down the aisle of the skincare section. With what I saw from our helpful kasambahay down to my titas and other friends that already used this one. All of them got the same effect, sun-burned and damaged skin. I almost doubted it to be labeled as “skincare” when it only make my family and friends’s skin condition worse than before. That being said, I never bother to use this not until last year when they released the MaxiPeel Fresh and Natural Skin Purifier which I reviewed before and love the effect on the skin.
